Access to Work Support

Support through your Access to Work journey.

From understanding the application process to putting workplace support in place.

Access to Work is a government programme that may provide funding towards additional workplace support required because of a disability or health condition.

The process can sometimes feel difficult to navigate. Mindkindle can help you organise your thoughts, explain the workplace barriers you experience and understand what information may be useful throughout the process.

Where are you in the process?

  1. Stage 1: Thinking about applying

We can help you understand the process and organise information about your workplace barriers.

  2. Stage 2: Application or assessment underway

We can help you prepare for your Access to Work conversation and provide a quotation where appropriate.

  3. Stage 3: Award received

We can help you understand the relevant parts of your award and determine whether Mindkindle can provide the approved support.

  4. Stage 4: Support begins

Where Mindkindle is an appropriate provider, your practitioner works with you on practical workplace strategies.

Applying for Access to Work?

You don’t have to navigate the process alone.

We can help you understand the Access to Work process, identify the workplace challenges you are experiencing and organise the information needed to explain your support needs clearly.

A. Application support

How we can help

  • Explaining how the Access to Work process generally works
  • Helping you identify the workplace barriers you experience
  • Helping you organise examples of how those barriers affect your work
  • Helping you think through what practical support may be useful
  • Helping you prepare information for your application
  • Helping you prepare for an Access to Work conversation or assessment
  • Helping you understand questions you may be asked
  • Providing a Mindkindle provider quotation where the requested support falls within our scope
  • Helping you understand your award once a decision has been made

Access to Work applications and awards are determined by the Department for Work and Pensions. Mindkindle can support you through the process, but we cannot guarantee eligibility, approval or a particular level of funding.

Need a provider quote?

If Access to Work has asked you to obtain a quotation, or you would like to include a potential provider as part of your application, you can contact us.

Where the requested support falls within Mindkindle’s service scope, we can provide a quotation describing the proposed support and associated costs. A quotation does not guarantee funding.

Already have an Access to Work award?

If your award includes workplace coping-strategy support or another type of support that Mindkindle may be able to provide, send us the relevant details of your award.

We will review the support that has been approved and confirm whether Mindkindle can provide it.
